Moving
Unfortunately, the organization under which we operate does not allow our company to give any discounts.
Ideal Movers does not rent trucks under any circumstances.
We move 7 days a week; however we have noticed that the beginning and ends of each month are typically high-volume times.
Ideal Movers can perform moves anywhere throughout New England. In addition, we service New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware Maryland, North & South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Absolutely! Whether you need one piece of furniture moved, you’re looking to rearrange your space for a fresh new look, or you need things cleared out for renovations, our company caters to jobs of all sizes.
Our typical motto is to move rain or shine; however, in cases of extreme weather we will try to reschedule with you for the safety of all parties involved.
Yes; because we will be able to point out any existing damage at the unload, we will help you unload a storage container or truck.
Unfortunately, because we will not be in the complete care, custody, and control of the items for the entire move, we do not.
Self-storage
Both facilities are surrounded by a 7-foot iron gate and are under 24-hour audio and video surveillance. On-site staff monitor facility activity and perform thorough lock checks 6 days of the week.
Prohibited items include (but are not limited to) combustible, corrosive, explosive, odorous, perishable, illegal, or otherwise hazardous materials. Please consult office personnel if you aren’t sure about a specific item.
You can refer to our self-storage tab for a general guideline of how much fits in each unit; however, a more accurate option is to contact an estimator here at the office and they can work with you to determine which unit would be the best choice.
All tenants must alert our office and fill out a brief vacate form upon emptying the unit.
One of our staff members can cut the lock off for you for a small fee. You will then be responsible for purchasing or providing another lock on the same day.
We have a one-month minimum for storage. After that, the terms of the lease run month-to-month, and you are free to stay as long as you’d like!
Weather-protected units are accessed from inside a building, but do not regulate temperature or humidity. These are mainly designed to protect the customer from the elements while they are accessing their unit.
